You might have seen this band on their Euro tour - full energy raging

stage. Sometimes called "Polish Berurier Noir", but their music is more
anarcho punk in Conflict / Wlochaty vein.

this is their first album ever. Hard to describe mixture of 80s hard
core and good solid Polish punk.

makes it more brutal – Croatian review says “dark hardcore”, but “dark”
doesn’t
mean “black” (metal) in this case.
The album called “Maras” is released in October
2006. This time it includes... a computer game as a bonus. Some tracks

remixes and cover versions prepared by friends. And a gatefold CD cover
is
another crazy art by the comics designer – Michal Arkusinski.
The end of 2006 brings a short
tour in Austria and
Slovenia with Klinika.

singers. Amen was one of the most important political punk bands in
early 90's. These recordings are from the 7" we released in '95 - that
were their final studio recordings ever. Now the guitarist plays in

Adding 2nd guitar player was not enough. Part of this album was
recorded together with guest... flute player. But a recorder +
distortion =
more noise! Definitely more aggressive than the demo, the album brings
the set of dark noisy punk hard core... Plus another Ulica cover and
surprising 70s style commie propaganda piece. In addition, the gatefold
LP cover serves as a board for the game which is included. I'll only
tell you that the aim of the game is to become the king of punks...

"I can always count on something new, different and unique from the
Polish punks. They always menage to do something cool, that
incorporates refreshing elements that are not more rehashing of the
same old punk. This band does that - with changing tempos, strange
samples of old time music in the middle, flutes and a dirgey grind,
mixed with old-school punk, melody, energy and rage, a nd a totally
unique spin that leaves me listening to this 5 times in a row and still
finding it hard to describe. I guess when so many bands play the same
throughout, when you have a band who incorporates so much variety - it
makes it hard to pinpoint - but Czosnek isn't chaotic, they play
songs with plenty of structure, just lots of variety. This comes in a

Old school hard core seems to be big thing here at the moment. Young
local crew has their first chance to record and release this album -
strong influences of Agnostic Front, Warzone, Madball - don't get it
wrong, these guys don't hate the world around them...

INKWIZYCJA.
They were the first band we released in 1991. Intense hard core energy
and very specific lyrics - poetical, but still hard hitting.
The first d.i.y. record ever released in Poland was an LP by a band
from Krakow - INKWIZYCJA. They were one of the biggest bands in late
80's / early 90's when the d.i.y. scene was forming in Poland. They
played close to 400 gigs at the time, mainly Poland, but also Austria,
Czech, their Italian tour was cancelled last minute...
They never stopped to play, but had to change line up some times. From
mid-90s the line up remains the same. They've recorded some songs in
'85 in Gold Rock Studio (run by Armia guitarist Robert Brylewski).
Then, in '97 they recorded another 5 songs, that were released a year
later as 7"EP "Slowo" (The word"). In 2000 NNNW released cassette
"Slowo i archiwalia" ("The word and archive") including 7" tracks, 2
cuts from Gold Rock session and another 2 taken from the very first
demo the band released themselves even before the LP. Another side of
the tape contains the band's singer's poetry set (he used to have live
shows for some years, published a couple of volumes himself) with some
strange sampled music backgrounds. It's important to note, that the
band's lyrics and singer's poetry made them icons of the anti-religious
punk scene. One of their concerts was banned by local bishop who got
mad seeing posters for INKWIZYCJA and AMEN concert in his town.

This is their 2nd demo, and first that appears on record. They mix full
energy punk with reggae, folk, melody, fiddles, vocals of both sexes.
You can think about some comparisions (Post Regiment, Alians), but
that's not that easy - this album is worth checking as a prove that
melody and punk can mix and still remain powerful and driving.

KRZYCZ "Trauma" CD 7.00 / LP 6.00 ! / CASS 2.50
This band from Polish seaside had already a demo tape and 7" on
Malarie, but that's hard to imagine this record knowing only the old
stuff. They menaged to express the impression they do playing live -
monumental, intense wall of sound with screaming vocals, but still
leaving space for some transy bits, some calm trumpet parts, some "hit"
riffs. They are usually compared to Neurosis and Ambush, but they do

Rejestracja was one of the best Polish punk bands from 80s. Their only
studio tracks were on "Jak punk to punk" compilation LP. So some people
from different hc / punk bands decided to record at least part of the
classics in the studio. So you have crew of 1125, RANGERS, RE-IM
musicians who invited singers from APATIA, HOMOMILITIA, POST REGIMENT,
DEUTER (yes, another old band) and other bands to sing anthems of their
adolescence.

music is impossible to describe, there is punk, jazzy hc, folk, etno.
